Roughway Farm has been run by the Cannon family for over 50 years. The farm is set in the rolling hills of the Bourne Valley in Plaxtol and has produced a variety of crops during its rich history.
The farm is currently around three hundred acres and now grows soft fruit and many varieties of cobnuts. We also have an experimental cobnut plat that contains over 50 different and varying varieties of cobnut. The farm also has historic nut plats and helps to farm and regenerate neighbouring platts. John Cannon MBE, is President of the Kentish Cobnuts Association has dedicated a lifetime’s work to preserving and promoting the Kent Cobnut.
We supply a variety of independent retailers and major supermarkets; our produce can also be found at local farmers markets and on our secure online store that offers delivery.
We sell fresh seasonal green and golden Kentish Cobnuts.
We sell a range of Cobnut gift bags; include our prize winning Cosford Cobnuts.
We sell potted and bare root trees. We also have a range of other products.
